Purpose of Position:
- You will be responsible for the day today contact with several key accounts in the region. You will further implement and develop our regional channel strategies drawn from the recommended line architecture and pricing strategy.
Using a strong creative eye you will brief the design and structure of our brand executions with a view to enhancing customer experience and improving sales and conversion. You'll be ensuring that products, promotions and content are timely, accurate and deliver on KPIs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, support and understand the needs of our Key Accounts
- Develop, optimize and execute Mattel’s strategic account planning for the channel
- Secure execution of strategic account plans by being the expert of key accounts’ needs, analyzing business results (sell in/sell out) & maximizing domestic opportunities
- Sales analysis and quota management based upon POS figures and formulate action plans accordingly
- Forecast, plan and prepare orders
- Secure full distribution of company categories and items in all accounts in line with potential and brand strategies
Key Result Areas:
- Developing/Sharing best practices across e-commerce channel
- Implementing the plans laid out by the brand Activation team
- Managing the flow of digital assets from both global and local sources and funneling these to the retailer in a timely manner
- Managing of copytext and implementation at key online sites
- Analyse and report sales developments
- Helping to develop ideas and programs that will enhance our online selling proposition
Main Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Sales Management – secure sales targets for the online channel in the region
- Project Management – Meets regularly with team members to assess progress, manage projects, and to deliver on time in a collaborative team environment.
- Strategy – Partners with brand activation team to help shape and implement strategic initiatives
- Proactivity – Takes ownership for projects and strives for excellence without being asked.
- Prioritization – Sets own priorities and follows through on goals set for the department
Your profile:
- 1 – 2 year experience in e-commerce sales and account management
- Higher education
- Highly organized, self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and thorough understanding of local sales
- Ambitious, energetic, capacity to learn fast, intelligent strategic thinker and capable to build strong and long term relationships with a passion for Mattel Brands
- MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Upper-intermediate English communication skills
