Behavox is a young FinTech company. We develop our own solutions for monitoring and data analysis for large financial institutions such as banks and hedge funds.

Our offices are located in St. Petersburg, Moscow, London, New York. We cooperate with international research centers (Tampere University of Technology and Aalto University).

Behavox products - real rock 'n' roll with Big Data, complex Machine Learning algorithms, a proprietary risk-scoring logic and interesting solutions (visualization of complex data structures).

Compliance - a product that allows you to find violations of financial regulations in a large range of communication data - e-mail, chat, sms. Compliance supports more than 30 types of data. If IBM is just Watson, then we have Sherlock Holmes.

MIFID II allows you to understand the performance of analysts through reverse engineering of its activities during financial research (research unbundling). It's like an executable file to restore its source code and install all the programmers who worked on it.

CRX - an ecosystem that combines customer data. CRX allows you to do cross-validation of the risk of logic and is a protected channel of communication by an industry participant. In Behavox, we call it the hyper data lake. Imagine a very large Hadoop cluster, then take, for example, 100 such clusters, unite them all and let perform complex distributed tasks - this is CRX.

Whilst the sales team will take responsibility for all business aspects of a sale, there is a requirement for sales-aware technical people who have the capability to understand a customer's IT environment and manage the deployment of Behavox platform into production. This position means diverse functionality and could be named as Implementation Project Manager, Technical Account Manager, Presales Consultant, Customer Success Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• As a member of the Customer Success team you will be the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients. Our commitment to excellence runs from engineering through implementation & support of our clients. “Good enough” is never acceptable. Anticipate needs. Exceed expectations. Fail fast and continuously improve with everything you touch;
• Own global solution delivery projects at the largest financial institutions;
• You are adept in communicating (written & in person) with any relevant stakeholder. C-level to support engineer. External & internal. You will present to clients during the bid process, obtain necessary information for POC during the bid process (from the client and internally), and have full ownership of the project through RFP, including integration with 3rd party data platforms;
• Acting as sales support, you will create and present demonstrations to clients using their data which you will have obtained. Understand their pain points and address them directly, in a relevant and meaningful way;
• Naturally curious and a passion for learning are required as you’ll be expected to continuously learn the ecosystem (our platform, the client’s environment, and 3rd party applications) to the point of expertise;
• This is not 9-5. Not only do we expect the following but, if you’re right for this company, you should need to hold yourself to a higher standard intrinsically. Address client issues and concerns immediately, never cutting corners, with the utmost attention to detail.

Requirements:

• STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) / Finance/ Econometrics degree is preferred but those with alternative education are acceptable;
• Knowledge of C++/ Java/ Python/ Groovy or other programming languages. During implementation, use of Python or Groovy to customize our platform to meet client requirements;
• R&D experience. Preferable areas: Storage, Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, Neural Networks;
• Familiarity with virtual machine technologies and cloud computing (AWS/ Microsoft Azure/ Google Cloud);
• Development, deployment, or QA experience within highly scalable, distributed, multi-node environments (10+ nodes). Understanding of advanced server clustering and distributed programming;
• Abilities to stay focused on a project under minimal or no supervision and be flexible in changing environments;
• Good non-verbal communication and interpersonal skills to work smoothly in diverse and distributed teams;
• Fluent English is a must;
• All candidates will be required to pass a technical test/ work project focusing on AWS, Kibana (ELK).

Desirable:

• Experience with Hadoop/ HBase/ MapReduce/ElasticSearch;
• Experience with basic machine learning algorithms (regressions, logistic regressions, K-means, decision trees, SVM, neural networks);
• Linux/UNIX knowledge and computing support background.
