Robocash Group is a financial group of companies, who provide financial services in the field of alternative lending and marketplace funding. We operate in 7 countries (https://robocash.group/about/). To support the growth of Group’s business, we’re looking for a Compliance Analyst to join the Group Compliance Department.
The role reports directly to Group Head of Compliance located in Latvia, and:
- is responsible for supporting the Group’s internal compliance activities for its business, with a focus on micro-lending and P2P lending business;
- monitors the applicable laws and regulations across the Group jurisdictions in Europe and Asia;
- recommends changes in business practices and procedures to ensure compliance.
What You Will Do
- Assist with the maintenance of the compliance management system for regulatory compliance.
- Continuously audit the Group’s current compliance status, test the existing compliance management system and report results to management.
- Assist in internal and external audits of the business and ensure implementation of remedies called for by such audits.
- Notify the concerned colleagues of required actions to ensure compliance within deadlines.
- Prepare or collaborate with appropriate colleagues to prepare corporate filings, including document preparation.
- Identify regulatory compliance issues and work with stakeholders and/or Internal Audit towards a resolution.
- Collaborate with business departments locally and remotely across the Group on developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures that are compliant with the country’s local regulation as well as Group Compliance Policy.
- Review and analyse regulatory bulletins and circulars to determine the potential impact of pending regulatory rule and regulation changes on Group operations and automated systems. Report changes to the concerned colleagues for further investigation and implementation.
- Track and assist in communication with regulators (including standard regulatory reporting) and other state institutions as necessary. If needed, provide additional information, clarification or justification, and facilitate implementation of the resulting tasks within deadlines.
- Develop training and educational programs to improve business’ understanding of applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Assist business with quantifying cost of regulatory functions.
What We'll Love About You
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, legal or related area.
- Two years of financial services compliance or regulatory experience is preferable.
- Knowledge of regulation applicable to the Group’s business type and regions of operation, especially for micro-lending and P2P lending, in areas such as consumer financing, Anti-Money Laundering, data protection, payment processing.
- Experience with regulatory forms and filings.
- Proficient English and ability to work with translations of regulatory texts.
- Ability to quickly gather, structure and analyse information needed to determine appropriate action for compliance issues.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills in a complex regulatory environment.
- Display and promotion of high standards of ethical conduct. Ability to handle confidential information and discretion.
- Ability to implement solutions to address both regulatory and business needs.
- Strong conflict negotiation and problem-solving skills while exercising independent judgement.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and independently.
