Candidates will be involved in building products with cutting-edge technologies lying in the intersection of big data, biotech and blockchain to create platform solution for some of the world's largest and most sophisticated market: wellness and healthcare.

In this position, you would be part of a team of data scientists, physicists, bioinformatics and genetics experts, distributed systems architects, web-developers building first outcome-based health smart contracts platform in own blockchain network. It is an ecosystem of million-users web applications, mobile apps, data analytics platforms and other mission-critical cloud solutions for healthcare/wellness industry.

Good candidates understands Cloud technologies (preferably by multiple vendors), are capable to configure the cluster, calculate the required resources, configure on OS level.

Responsibilities:

• Configure Amazon cluster for big data solutions

• Select and setup AWS components for processing of high volumes of data

• Enable high availability of the cluster and DDoS protection.

• Configure security of a solution

• Document the architecture of a cluster, communicate it to the team

• Provide technical input into all significant decisions to ensure alignment of existing solutions with cloud technologies

• Configure and setup DevOps processes and tools to ensure cloud development and deployment

• Setup the procedures of moving from development to test and to production environment

Requirements:

• Cloud:

  • AWS (additional knowledge of Azure, Rackspace & Google Cloud is good to have)

  • Experience with configuration and administrating (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Aurora, DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.)

  • Understanding and experience with Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

  • Networking (including Amazon networks), Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

  • Understanding of infrastructure sizing & assessment/estimation is good-to-have

  • Proactive protection of cloud resources using automated monitoring of information security. Building a process for managing vulnerabilities and security risks

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of network security technologies: Firewall, VPN, IPS, Security Design, Security Management, security technologies at various levels of the OSI model, Wireless Security, practical encryption, PKI, DDoS protection, virtualization protection, content filtering, access control within the framework of the BYOD concept and others.

• Infrastructure:

  • Linux administration skills (Ubuntu and others)

  • Infrastructure security setup (roles, groups, encryption)

  • Security integration strategies (LDAP, AD, Kerberos)

  • Administration of network equipment, Wi-Fi networks and ip-telephony systems;

  • RDBMS and NoSQL administration and understanding (Postgres, Mongo, Oracle)

  • Docker and container management systems (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm)

  • Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI tools, Puppet, Ansible good-to-have), approaches

  • Automation

  • Git

• Additional good-to-have skills:

  • Blockchain and Ethereum platform technologies understanding

  • Experience in ICO

  • Basic programming skills (Python, JS, Java, Scala), scripting

  • Administration of Big Data clusters

  • Administration of NoSQL systems (HBase, Cassandra, etc.)

  • Experience in security audits projects (integrated audits, assessments), creating reports, conclusions on compliance.
