Western FMCG company invites Deputy Chief Accountant

Duties and responsibilities

Participate and coordinate closing of financial period based on the closing schedule for corporate closing:

Calculation of provisions,

Accruals procedure control

Monthly Control of all posted expenses

Trial balance analysis

Vendors open items control

Preparation of financial reporting package upon IFRS, representation letter and other information for the headquarters
Holding responsibility over RAP reporting
Communication with external auditor, coordination of audit process, collection of information upon auditors’ request.
Communication with budget control, credit control and tax team and other departments to clarify accounting records and to give local support.
Deferred tax calculation.
Managing general accounting team of two persons in terms of the following areas:

Fixed assets

Retailing operations

General ledger accounts

Control over stock movements

Representation office in Kazakhstan coordination – communication with local staff and accountant
Back-up of chief accountant

Required qualifications and skills

Higher education degree in finance or economics
IFRS and RAP knowing
Good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Wishing for learning
Experience of work in the accounting department minimum 5 years, experience in financial reporting and general accounting
English on upper-intermediate level
SAP FI module user experience
Aptitude to work with figures, strong analytical skills, able to process big volumes of data
Agility, proactivity and sociability
