GEA group, one of the leading engineering companies, is looking for a sales manager to develop its business on the field of food (fresh proteins: meat, fish, poultry, dairy) processing & packaging equipment.

As a Sales Manager your responsibilities will include:

Sales

• Sales development on a dedicated territory with the target to meet and exceed personal sales budget;
• Market analysis;
• Proactive and strategic market exploration: key account management, customer growth, consulting and development of fast growing customers, working with customers on each level of organization;
• Participation in trade fairs, networking with partners and strategic allies;
• Work in GEA CRM system;
• Develop the sales potential on the field of convenience food, fish, confectionary, sugar, poultry, HoReCa and retail industries;
• Working both independently and in a team: be eager to help and ask for assistance if needed.

Customer Service

• Helping customers to better understand GEA technology and product range;
• Analysis of customers potential and gap in order to visit pro-actively customers and generate business;
• Verification and completion of the customers’ expectations in respect to the proposed solution;
• Technical, informational and commercial support to the client;

Commercial processing

• Review of order/offer-proceeding;
• Creation of offers, quotations and contracts;
• Reporting of numbers of incoming orders and sales figures;

Key competences

• High technological or engineering education would be your advantage;
• At least 3 years of experience in food industry - equipment/materials sales or customer support;
• Good knowledge of food (mostly fresh proteins) processing and packaging equipment;
• Fluency in English both verbal and written;
• Ability to business trips ( minimum 50% of time);
• Excellent communication skills;
• Hard working;
