BostonGene Tumor Portrait test, based on integrated genomic and transcriptomic analysis, propels precision medicine into daily practice and supports physicians in actualizing personalized therapy for cancer patients. The test uses whole exome (WES) and whole transcriptome (RNAseq or RNA-sequencing) sequencing to profile the tumor’s genomic, transcriptomic, microenvironment, and neoantigenic properties.

BostonGene genomic-and transcriptomic-based analysis, in concert with the patient’s clinical history, provides information regarding appropriate NCCN regimens and likely benefits of therapies or therapeutic combinations. The test report also provides information about ongoing clinical trials for which the patient may be eligible, and generates an Appeal Letter to the patient’s insurance provider, increasing the chance of coverage so that the patient can obtain the best possible treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of provisional and non-provisional patent applications for cutting-edge healthcare solutions;

• Conducting State of the Art search of the relevant areas (omics technologies, ml algorithms,

• Choosing the optimal patenting strategy for the proposed inventions.

• Interaction with RnD and the legal teams within patent preparation.

Qualifications:

• Experience in preparing provisional and non-provisional patent applications in accordance with CAF/USPTO/EPO format;

• Higher education in bioinformatics, molecular biology, medicine or other relevant fields, or proven experience of patenting in these areas;

• Written English language proficiency;
