Are you energized by a logistics planning role that will enhance your leadership skills and allow you to drive regional supply strategies? If so, this Logistics Manager role could be an ideal opportunity to explore.
The Logistics Manager is directly responsible/accountable Logistics, warehousing and distribution, management of local contract manufacturers and any activities linked to implementing local market requirements to enable partial localization of the product portfolio for Russia.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
Strategic leadership:
- Translate Regional/Area Supply Chain strategy into local implementation plan
- Develop a roadmap for partial localization of the product portfolio
- Define the customer collaboration roadmap and strategy
Organisational leadership:
- Drive customer collaboration to improve customer relationships and customer satisfaction
- To better understand the needs and expectations of our customers, to improve the way we manage every aspect of our supply chain
- Champion the customer throughout the E2E supply chain through outside in thinking.
Operational performance:
- Best in class order to invoice processes and enhanced customer service.
- Implement warehouse, distribution solutions to secure quality and efficacy of GSK CH products,
- Drive down combined primary and secondary distribution as well as warehousing costs within respective commercial area.
- Set up a localized supply chain for a significant portion of the portfolio commercialized in Russia
- Deliver continuous improvement to increase productivity within the Supply Chain from Demand Forecasting to deliver to Customers, achieving tangible results in inventory reduction, forecast accuracy, customer service, lead-time reduction, cost reduction.
- Contribute to the flawless implementation of the IBP blueprint
- Drive functional excellence supported by Area CSC team and by GSK shared service.
- Drive customer collaboration and improvement projects to become first choice for our customerBuild strong links to the central Move Product and Logistics function and use them to help transforming regional CSC by applying best in class practices
- Develop a localized supply chain via CMO’s and collaborate closely with the EU CMO team in order to establish a best in class local CMO footprint
Why you?
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4 or more years of experience in managerial role
- Experience in Commercial Sales / Marketing / Demand Forecasting, Customer Service and manufacturing or CMO management
- Ability to work off own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to in country leadership team meetings and decision making process
- Ability to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously
- Supporting Commercial ambition to drive better margin and WC in Area/Market.
- Experience in leading and managing projects that impact a number of functions
- Good understanding of business environment and ability to debate issues with peers and senior colleagues.
- Additional language(s) may be an advantage
- Leadership Expectations to be demonstrated in full with strengths in Driving Performance, working across Boundaries and developing capability and Talent
- Demonstrated people skills and ability to manage diverse teams of experts
- Demonstrated ability to work with external stakeholders
