Oriflame is now looking for an Event Manager CIS.
Responsibilities:
- Organize regional conference in accordance with the yearly event plan and the conference process guidelines. Manage the project team during conference-preparation process as well as on site;
- Search for new incentive conference destinations, new strong event suppliers and DMCs and new event trends. Estimate cost of potential conferences, events and incentive programs and present them to the Managing Board & Regional Heads;
- Together with Legal and Procurement teams follow the conference RFP process as well as all other Finance/Procurement-related processes, such as tender approval, contract reconciliation, post-conference cost reconciliation, market recharges and VAT claim. Meet budget targets for the regional conferences and local events taking into consideration budget limitations and program needs. Communicate budget status to Regional senior management and Finance;
- Constantly learn new event and communication trends. Excel in Events and project management to keep Oriflame conferences at the world class level, making them a key competitive advantage for Oriflame. Constantly enhance the knowledge of Direct Sales. Apart from further excelling in Events, develop and practice strong digital expertise relevant for Oriflame events. Constantly develop personal soft skills;
- Promote the importance of Conferences and Events internally as a key growth driver for Oriflame. Improve the understanding of Event management in the company. Promote Oriflame Conferences and Events externally as the best in the industry.Liase with external suppliers from the industry and institutions in order to promote Oriflame.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in incentive travel or MICE;
- 5+ years of Event management experience;
- Very good English (written and spoken);
- Very good computer knowledge including Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
- Comfortable in communicating and present facts and figures and convey information to others in an effective manner; positive, clear and to the point. Creative ability to communicate core sales messages to a diverse international sales environment;
- Strong ability to analyze, interpret and use facts and figures in an effective manner;
- Ability to identify an opportunity for negotiation by comparing supplier quotes or looking at historical prices. Able to independently carry out negotiations by phone, e-mail or face to face;
- Strong project manager skills. Organized and detailed oriented. A structured operator and a good planner, who can successfully identify and organize relevant resources, and is a good time-manager. Structured delegation of given tasks to team members;
- Able to coordinate a variety of programs under strict timelines and deadlines. Able to multitask and work under pressure. Handles stress or anxiety and remain composed, courageous and always bounces back quickly from setbacks;
- Very open minded and positive person with a “can-do” attitude. Fully orientated towards action, has a high output, bold and quick.
