BACKGROUND

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide legal support in connection with ecosystem development (AppGallery), e-commerce and other digital services, including without limitation contract review, drafting and negotiation and legal research relating to competition law, product certification and other topics as assigned by the supervisor;
• Ensure legal compliance of the company’s advertisements and marketing campaigns;
• Support Customer Service in consumer complaints;
• Represent the Company as lead counsel/assistant counsel in consumer litigation, administrative investigations and other proceedings;
• Provide compliance support under tax, corporate and other areas of law on an as-needed basis;
• Provide general corporate advice regarding, e.g., company incorporation, corporate governance, etc.; and
• Track the legislative development and major related court decisions and analyze the impact on the Company.

PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTE

• 3+ years related working experience in a law firm or as a court clerk (litigation experience is a high plus);
• Familiar with e-commerce, advertising and/or marketing industries is also a plus;
• Full professional proficiency in both Russian and English;
• Good communication and negotiation skills, and able to work under pressure; and
• Skilled user of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
