We are looking for Software Engineer with background in optimization to join our team. With a motivated squad of 15 professionals we focus on MedSpace - the innovative online roster application for medical specialists, physician assistants, support staff and general practitioners. We are active in The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France - a niche with 100,000 professionals where a lot is happening. This dynamic creates opportunities, improvements and innovations.

Duties:

As optimization modeling engineer you will be a part of a MedSpace Development team. You will be working closely with ICT engineers as well as Support team to deliver best-in-class automatic scheduling software. We expect that you bring your mathematical skills and knowledge into practical solutions. Your scope of work would be:

Enhancement of optimization models, design and development of decision-support tools
Analysis of new cases, formalization of requirements and subsequent implementation
Consulting clients/colleagues on the use of automated planning facilities
Main technological stack is AIMMS / Java / HCL Notes

Requirements:

Higher education in computer science, applied mathematics or similar field.
Knowledge of optimization methods, computational complexity of algorithms, understanding of classes of optimization problems and their specifics
Good knowledge of at least one programming language
At least intermediate level of English
Good communication skills
Relevant experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
Ready to relocate to the Netherlands
