Kept is an audit and advisory firm that was previously part of KPMG's international network but formally left it on 8 June 2022.

We audit financial statements, provide performance improvement and risk management services, help deal with tax and legal issues, provide transaction services and advise on business restructuring and raising financing. What we do

Office of General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for provision of legal advice to the firm and support the firm in its activity effectively manage legal risks. OGC Contract Unit deals with both Client and procurement (suppliers) related contracting issues; provides guidance and templates of engagement contracts, confidentiality agreements, license agreements, etc.

Principal Accountabilities:

Reviewing contracts/agreements with suppliers, the firm’s clients and other legal documents;
Assisting other departments in preparing contracts and other legal documents;
Providing legal assistance and consulting on various issues of law, in particular, Civil and Contract Law;
Support in negotiations of contractual terms with suppliers and clients;

Required:

Completed higher legal education;
3-5 years experience in a position of Lawyer;
Excellent knowledge of Russian legislation: civil, business, administrative and arbitration procedures, private international laws;
Good knowledge of English (upper-intermediate level) will be considered as a plus;
Time-management skills;
Attentive to details;
Able to handle multiple tasks.
