As a Warehouse Specialist you'll manage Warehouse operations and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers in Russia. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance

Our Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business, global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. Used throughout all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways, PDx products support three patients every second around the world.

Essential responsibilities:

• Manage the receipt of inbound shipments of Pharma products from the manufacturing Sites in Russia. Manage warehouse operations including stock control and order processing through to collection by either a Logistics Service Provider (“LSP”) or the Customer. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy.
• Manage Logistics Costs to meet budget and prepare the annual budget plan.
• Manage Pharmaceutical Serialization process as it applies to warehouse operations in Russia.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• Provides backup to Quality Assurance (“QA”) function during any absences for Product batch release process.
• Drives a Continual Improvement (“CI”) program using LEAN. Develops Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”) to measure and report on effectiveness of warehouse operation.
• Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members
• Develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and the Company.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• At least 3 years Logistics warehousing experience, preferably in the Pharma Industry
• Strong oral and written communication skills and experience of dealing with internal/ external stakeholders. Must have an excellent ability to communicate, both verbally and written, in English.
• Commercial/Quality awareness. Fully conversant with Pharmaceutical GDP (Good Distribution Practice).
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, valid certificate of specialist (for pharmaceutical activity).
• Established project management skills
• This role requires advanced experience in Logistics, including warehouse operations, in a Pharmaceutical / highly regulated business. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Prior experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) system desired, Navision, SAP or Oracle preferred.
• Russian -fluent, English -advanced
• Prior experience working with LEAN desired.
