We would like to start a major initiative on import and distribution management.

What will be the tasks?

• Full leadership of a department to grow from minimum to about 5-8 people staff by end of 2025 and then further development
• Dotted reporting line of import-manager in other SG offices. We now start with Tashkent office and later others will follow. Means we want to develop such service across the region
• Development of B2C (e.g. through market places like OZON etc.) as well as B2B (e.g. spare parts for machinery etc.) business. For the beginning the concept does not foresee the takeover of entrepreneurial risk, but the function of an agent / technical facilitator. At a later point in time we may gradually step into entrepreneurial risks.
• Full management of the entire process, starting from first talks with potential clients (could be manufacturers abroad or could be business in Russia who commission to us search and purchase of certain goods), taking care of the supply chain management via logistics partners and finally arranging for the sales.

Whom are we looking for?

• Relevant experience in most of the above-mentioned areas
• Fluent English. German in addition would be an advantage
• We expect professional knowledge and experience as well as a good mix of start-up mentality as well as good structured mind set.
• You are well organized and at the same time also like to participate in Business Development activities
