Seeking a new challenge? Ingram Micro is the world leading IT distributor serving more than 200,000 customers in 160 countries. We have 30,000 employees worldwide and after acquiring Odin from Parallels our Cloud R&D innovation center is in Russia. Here we develop Odin Automation a Cloud Commerce Platform that service providers use to sell Cloud services. Odin Automation also powers the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplaces. While most Cloud services (e.g. Office 365, AWS, Dropbox, Webex, Kaspersky and Acronis) can be purchased directly, a major portion of seats is sold through channels (e.g. service providers, telecoms, distributors, integrators and MSPs).

Our eCommerce module inside Odin Automation is in active use and development since 2004. It helps our customers (e.g. Vodafone, Am?rica M?vil with Telmex / Embratel / Claro, Telef?nica with O2, KPN, Sprint, Telenor, Telecom Italia, Telstra, MTN, Dell and our own Marketplaces) to sell Cloud services directly to end-customers and through resellers. The module supports B2C and B2B scenarios across n-tier resellers. The code is written in C#, Java and Javascript. We experience continued growth among our customers and strong demand for new features and further scalability.

Even if you are already experienced in eCommerce, you can still learn here a lot about selling in different countries, selling of various Cloud services and selling of Cloud services in distribution / reseller scenarios where we still see a lot of innovation over the next years.

ESSENTIALS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and develop components and features of our eCommerce module
Improve performance and scalability of our eCommerce module
Write unit, component and end-to-end integration auto-tests
Fix bugs (yes, we also have those)
Resolve and troubleshoot problems and complex real customer issues
Work closely with business analysts and QA on requirements and solutions
Participate in designs of other components developed by Ingram Micro

REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of Java EE or .NET (DBs & transactions, REST, messaging, security, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Javascript and JS frameworks
Experience in SQL programming
Experience of common algorithms, data structures and design patterns
Experience of Linux/Unix OS family
Ability to write and read in English
Understanding of need in writing unit & integration tests
Willingness and readiness to learn and grow

WILL BE A PLUS

C++
Python
SQL profiling & optimization
Experience in design of highly-available and scalable systems
Experience in development of at least one of Billing/BSS, eCommerce or CRM systems
Experience in working with/at hosting service providers or telecoms
