Responsibilities:

Establish and manage an effective Pharmacovigilance (PV) system for medicinal products in the Affiliate, in compliance with local national regulations and standards, and with Abbott policies and procedures at local, regional and global levels
Continually and proactively improve and develop the Affiliate PV system to meet needs and requirements of Abbott, and local Pharmacovigilance legislation and standards
Create, implement and update local Pharmacovigilance related procedures, as required
Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to forward any safety-related inquiry or relevant communication from the Local Regulatory Authority to the GPV as appropriate
Participate in PV audit schedule and other PV audits and inspections as required. Assist in all audit preparation activities, including close out of any audit action items. In addition PV Manager provides support to other Abbott functions in the auditing of external customers the Territory where PV falls within the scope of the audit plan
