HOLIDAY INN MOSCOW TAGANSKY is looking for a professional and dynamic DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING to lead the SALES TEAM of the hotel:
For this vital role, we’re looking for someone who meets following requirements:
- Higher education;
- Previous work experience on the position of Director of Sales and Marketing or Deputy/Assistant Director of Sales and Marketing minimum 2 years in hospitality;
- Fluent English and Russian written and spoken;
- Strong sales and negotiation skills;
- Goods knowledges of Moscow market;
- Ability to work under pressure and follow strict deadlines;
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills;
- Team player;
- Computer literacy: MS Office, e-mail, Opera.
For this vital role, we’re looking for someone whose main responsibilities will be:
- Achieve budgeted revenues and personal/team sales goals and maximize profitability;
- Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget, the hotel marketing plan and business plan, and financial plans;
- Create and implement sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales;
- Review monthly reports and sales forecasts to analyze current/potential market and sales trends, coordinate activities to increase revenue and market share and monitor performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan;
- Direct day-to-day sales activities, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members;
- Educate, train and motivate sales team to achieve hotel revenue goals;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and outside contacts;
- Communicate to appropriate departments all pertinent information requirements and special needs for arriving VIP’s, large groups, and other key guests;
- Lead marketing efforts to upsell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities.
