JOB SUMMARY
This role is intended to manage VIMN’s top affiliate & digital relationships in the new markets: Ukraine and Baltics across all of the VIMN portfolio of channels: Nickelodeon, Paramount Comedy, Spike, MTV, Nick Jr, Paramount Channel etc, as well as managing respective distribution agents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enhance distribution and sign new affiliate accounts to expand distribution for Viacom channels in Ukraine and Baltics with focus on global 6: MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Comedy, Paramount Channel, Spike, Nick Jr – both traditional and digital distribution.
- Manage representation agencies in the regions, work closely with them to assist with queries and ensure delivery of sales targets.
- Manage relationships with a few of the TOP-7 Russia operators and a number of smaller operators across Russia.
- Prepare sales plans for attracting new accounts in the relevant territories, including developing client target lists and recommended pricing.
- Oversee account relationship management for a dedicated set of direct accounts.
- Negotiate commercial terms for new accounts and work with legal team during contract signing process.
- Identify opportunities to expand account relationships by selling new channels and associated Digital Media products and services. Equally identify overall opportunities for the separate territories development within the region.
- Monthly report on Ukraine and Baltics affiliate business performance: tracking against sales targets, cash collection/debt level update, channel activities carried out in the previous month and plans for the next month.
- Coordinate and work closely with the trade marketing team to prepare marketing plans for key accounts.
- Support deals execution.
- Be involved in administration processes as required.
- Frequent travel to the regions as required by business maintenance and development.
- Work in team and be attentive to details.
ROLE-SPECIFIC SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
Job Specific Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in pay TV business, also can consider previous content licencing or acquisition businesses experience
- Excellent Sales, Negotiations & Key Accounting skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive – contingency planning
- Knowledge of the pay TV markets in Ukraine, Baltics, Russia & CIS
- Established relationships and contacts with key affiliates in Ukraine, Baltics or CIS markets
- Deep awareness of clients’ needs and internal processes
- Commercial experience and/or qualifications
- Interact effectively with Senior Management.
- Conflict resolution and diplomacy
- Fluent Russian and English language skills
- Professional MS Office knowledge
