Main purpose:

The In-Country Brand/product Manager's main purpose is to plan, develop and implement strategic and cross-functionally aligned brand plans and programs for the local market to ensure Pfizer meets its strategic business goals and financial objectives.

Brand/product manager should have a deep knowledge of the brand market, product competitive advantages, and main customer’s needs in order to evaluate all exited opportunities for brand/product growth.

The cross-functional team comprises country brand lead, project manager, FF managers, digital manager, market access manager, the medical advisor and market analytics representative. Its purpose is to provide a cross-functional platform to design tailored brand and customer-specific programs and to coordinate on implementation.

Responsibilities:

Planning

  • Strategic planning

1) Develop and deliver strategy for brand, if local, aligned with regional marketing, country and customer strategies

  • Operational planning
  1. Develop and deliver appropriate brand plan based, if applicable, on Regional brand operating plan and aligned to BU and country operating plans, working with cross-functional team
  2. Define brand programs with objectives, resources, KPIs and expected returns
  3. Support development of customer plans, identifying brand issues and objectives for each customer anddefining programs to address these
  4. Work with sales managers to ensure appropriate and prioritized set of programs
  5. Deliver aspects of pricing and reimbursement plan for brand

• Implementation

  • Strategic planning
  • Lead successful implementation of cross-functionally aligned brand plan
  • Lead, organize and deliver local programs and materials
  • Effectively implement brand plans and materials developed by Regional brand Management teams,providing input and feedback to Regional team
  • Ensure local approval of core materials, and locally developed supplementary
  • Ensure local approval of all programs and projects
  • Coordinate with cross-functional team and FF, including gaining their input on brand plans and programs, providing appropriate responses to their feedback on brand materials and leveraging their market insights
  • Every program, project, action is planned and executed via ethical coda and compliance standards, SOPs and local guidelines.
  • Brand knowledge training roll out:

1) Responsible for product trainings for sales personnel

2) Responsible for product coaching for PSRs

• Market/customer insights

  • Participate in development of customer understanding, analysis and insight generation
  • Develop deep knowledge of market dynamics, needs and opportunities for the brand
  • Enable brand knowledge sharing
  • Network and build relationships with selected customers.
  • Is responsible for the selection of consultants / agencies based upon market knowledge
  • Is responsible for strategic and operative agency management
  • Gives input in the election of consultants based upon market knowledge
  • Update and maintain CRM database as appropriate

• Monitoring and control

  • Is responsible for management and measurement of overall investment and consequent returns, according to determined KPIs for own product and assigned portfolio, therapeutic area
  • Support delivery of in-country P&L for brand
  • Support achievement of KPIs through regular monitoring and assessments
  • Support delivery of P&Ls for assigned portfolio in country
  • Respond to emerging challenges with appropriate measures in collaboration with Reginal brand teams

• Collaboration

  • Contribute to the work of cross-functional teams and collaborate across business to facilitate a cohesive approach to the marketing of Pfizer products
  • Participate in cross-functional team with responsibility for generation of brand insights, prioritization and balancing of brand programs and brand-related customer programs and contribution to Customer focus thinking
  • In partnership with Market Analytics, share knowledge of local dynamics and insights on the brand with Regional brand team
  • Management to enable development of core programs/material
  • Collaborate with customer teams to design brand-related customer interactions (e.g., KOL advisory board)
  • Flag issues promptly
  • Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and understanding of internal departments, key contacts, organizational structure and culture
  • Lead the work of cross-functional team for assigned portfolio
  • Integrate portfolio and customer perspectives
  • Drive portfolio-thinking and provide portfolio/brand expertise within country across customer groups
  • Partner with Regional brand team Senior Brand Manager to ensure visibility and connection with local market

Requirements:

  • Marketing + medical or pharmaceutical sciences high education
  • Experience in Product Manager (1 year minimum)
  • Market researches experience
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Russian – native, English-fluent
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Excellent Communications skills
  • Technical marketing skills (needs, segmentation, SWOT analyses, creation of competitive strategies, risk assessment)
