Position Purpose:
- The key purpose is to support development, execution and reporting on promo strategy for the Company to enhance profit & improve performance of the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing Manager (Flow) assists Revenue Growth Manager in the implementation of Promo strategies, including the development of promo recommendations.
Trade Marketing Manager (Flow) will be responsible for supporting and independently executing day-to-day activities related to various promo offers & discounts.
Trade Marketing Manager’s role also includes business support services to drive revenue growth decision making. Providing information support, including but not limited to range performance evaluation and operational costs analysis, scenario analysis and analysis of the impact of change.
Particular responsibilities include:
- Promo (discount) strategy development, promotion guidelines based on promotional effectiveness analysis, communication, monitoring of execution;
- Control of promotion plans based on promotion guidelines;
- Store planning supervision;
- Develop and lead systematic approach for tracking discounts efficiency;
- Regular category analytics & reporting focus on:
- key market trends / threats / opportunities identification in the sphere of promo (discounts);
- Avon’s performance analyses – recommendations;
- competitors promo strategy analysis – opportunities / threats identification / recommendations;
- category / brand / size / channel promo development – analysis & recommendations development;
- sporadic analysis & recommendations development on SKU level as a follow up to regular analyses;
- Monthly compilation of overview presentations focusing on current business situation and next steps to address key issues;
- Provide cross-functional support (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Planning) in performance tracking, expertize, evaluations, scenario analysis and ad-hoc requests;
- Participation in long-term / short-term promo planning (recommendations / decision support);
- Developing analytical tools and monthly reviews;
- Participation in key cross-functional ad-hoc projects mitigating market threats and opportunities;
- Business consulting in a decision making process;
- Training of the cross-functional teams.
- Manage team of 3 subordinates
Competency Requirements:
- Graduate of discipline that requires quantitative knowledge (economics, quantitative methods, statistics);
- Trade marketing background is a plus;
- Strong skills in analytics, statistics, special analytical software tools (MS Office, other);
- Entrepreneurial skills and style;
- Capable to think and act proactively;
- Proficiency in quantitative analysis;
- Flexibility, ability to work with various teams and on various tasks simultaneously;
- Experience in creating and assessing business cases is an advantage;
