We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will join our Technology Department to be part of a 200+ engineers team who create cutting-edge solutions and always raise the bar.

This department is focusing on developing products in the trading market, creating solutions from the moment of registration of clients to the moment of withdrawal of funds. Our technologies include solutions that support customer journeys (Identity Management, Billing Management), trading interfaces (FIX, REST, WS, Algo), back-office interfaces (Personal Area, Payment Solutions, Back Office), centers of expertise (QA, DevOps, Security) and technology platforms (Orchestration, internal PaaS / SaaS) and much more.

What you will do

Together with the team construct, develop and maintain a scalable market data platform for internal and external clients. This data platform is the basis for our pricing system as one of the main parts of the business and it is supposed to have data from a variety of data sources measured to prevent data losses and inconsistencies. You will work together with Quantitative Researchers, Developers, DevOps, and Operational Team to find and implement data solutions for different (sometimes nontrivial) tasks.

How you will do it

You'll be part of a team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of our data processing pipelines and data services
You'll own the full development and operations cycle of ETLs and data solutions
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using batch and stream processing
Help drive optimization, testing, and tooling to improve data quality. Identify bottlenecks and improve the performance of all our data pipelines and services
Set up monitoring, define SLA’s, analyze metrics for data delivery and processing

We want you to have this

Technical skills

Strong programming skills and expert knowledge in at least one programming language: Go, Java, Python
Strong experience with SQL
Experience with integration from/to and developing REST API, S3 file storage, sftp, Kafka, various file formats
Experience with MPP databases such as Vertica, ClickHouse, or Redshift
Experience with AWS services like Lambda, S3, Athena, Glue, IAM
Knowledge Docker and Kubernetes

Nice to have

Experience with code-based ETL tools such as Argo dataflow/Airflow/AWS stack
Experience with distributed data processing frameworks (such as Spark, Flink)
Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, CloudWatch or Datadog
Familiar with TICK (Telegraf, InfluxDB, Chronograf, Kapacitor) stack
You share and cultivate DevOps culture - CI/CD, GitLab, Terraform

Soft Skills

Detail-oriented and passionate about data quality
Ability to work with strict deadlines
Spoken and written English – intermediate level and fluent Russian
You can deal with constructive critics and know how to develop relationships with the team to achieve common goals
You are practicing attentive listening and you are on a short leg with persuasion and argument
