The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for sales processes, sales tools, and prioritization of projects in support inbound, outbound and field sales channels. The candidate in this role will ensure that sales processes run smoothly and at maximum efficiency while identifying and acting on areas for improvement. He/she will assess lead flow/routing and pipeline progression, and building scalable processes to enable revenue increases. This role also leads the evaluation, configuration and enablement of Sales tools in support of these channels. Responsibilities also include project prioritization and impact assessment.
The individual will work closely with all senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Analytics and IT and must have a strong understanding of sales methodology across all products, CRM, reporting and possess the gravitas to work with all supporting functions.
This role enables salesteams to focus on selling and improves sales performance & productivity.
Responsibilities:
Processes:
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritizes opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement
- Process documentation/user instructions within SFDC and Sales processes & workflows
Technology:
- Ownership of sales tools and technology. Ensures adoption and customization of CRM and other salestools in the salesteams to maximize return on investment
- Manages and represents the sales items on the IT roadmap
- Partners with Salesmanagement to ensure technology efficiency and evaluates the technology for future roadmap
Performance:
- Sets KPI’s, Sales metrics and SLA’s with other functions for the sales organisation
- Is partially responsible for the targets of the full sales teams and proactively identifies potential areas for sales efficiency
Strategy & Reporting
- Manages (project management) the implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives (like Sales Transformation initiative)
- Perform data analytics around various business subject matter and provide valuable data driven insight to facilitate business decision making
- Identify business model improvement opportunities and actionable strategic initiatives through robust analytics
- Assess and prioritize project requests from various stakeholders, then create the business requirements for submission to the Dev teams
Accountabilities and Performance measures:
- Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives for the sales organisation.
- Accountable for the thorough implementation of sales organization-impacting initiatives (Sales transformation program.
Qualifications:
- Entrepreneurial / Start-Up mindset – you will often be identifying and deploying the best solutions
- 5+ years of experience in Inside Sales or Sales Ops role, preferably in FinTech, required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field, required
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures and limitations preferred - preferably
- Ability to think outside of the box to develop solutions by using standard functionality
- Strong project management skills – the ability to meet or exceed deadlines and time lines, balance multiple priorities, and work under pressure
- Fluent in English a must
- Ability to solve business problems leveraging data analytics tools
- Ability to define, implement, improve and automate processes
- Ability to adapt and work independently toward tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment; flexible to changing priorities when circumstances dictate
