Job Responsibilities:

Reviewing/preparing/updating contracts (mostly Retail agreements, Distribution agreements and marketing agreements)
Strong knowledge of Law on Consumer Rights Protection
Monitoring of laws and inserting amendments to the local internal documents
Research and drafting memoranda on various legal issues
Cooperating with front-office departments and third parties on legal issues
Assist the business team in assessing legal risk and in developing appropriate measures to address and mitigate the identified risks
Provide legal support to business regarding contract interpretation and guidance, particularly regarding disputes or other issues that may develop during contract execution
Support in Internal policies and procedures development
Help drive a strong compliance culture within the business
Create and deliver an effective compliance training program, actively educate employees on compliance related topics.
All compliance issues and concerns are identified, appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved

Required Qualifications:

3 years of experience as a lawyer in retail business
Significant experience in contract work and development of internal regulations
Detailed knowledge of relevant commercial and industry-specific legislation.
Solid knowledge of general corporate, civil and commercial law in Russia
Experience with addressing compliance and regulatory issues.
knowledge of laws on advertisement, IP laws (mostly protection of trademarks, personal data protection regulations
Knowledge of legal regulation of e-tail
Strong knowledge of competition laws
Knowledge of anti-bribery law of Russian Federation, FCPA (USA) and AB UK
Knowledge of Anti-monopoly law (Anti-monopoly Compliance)
Knowledge of Sanctions (Sanction Compliance)
Knowledge of Data Protection law (Data Protection Compliance)
English fluent
