Presently we are looking for Senior Associate to join our M&A advisory team in Moscow.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support senior BIC Securities team members in origination activities (both buy-side and sell-side), including the following key tasks:
  • monitoring of new opportunities, including performing financial analysis of the companies – potential acquisition targets, market and industry researches;
  • participation in marketing activities, incl. contacts and meetings with companies – potential acquisition targets, etc.;
  • preparation of marketing materials (pitches, presentations etc.) required for mandate discussions with potential clients.
• Perform day-to-day execution activities on existing M&A mandates, as required, including the following key tasks:
  • interacting with the deal team members (senior colleagues, client representatives, other advisors) / performing necessary financial analysis of the companies – potential acquisition targets, including market and industry aspects;
  • performing complex valuation analysis including DCF, CCA and CTA approaches;
  • preparation of high-quality marketing documents (Teasers, IMs, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS and BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Bachelor degree in finance or economics from a leading university;
• Not less than 3 years of experience in M&A / valuation / financial advisory role at an investment bank or audit / corporate finance advisory firm or private equity fund;
• Decent financial modelling skills;
• Experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare sector is a plus;
• Fluent English;
• CFA is a plus.
