Sales Manager, Food & Beverages, Russia
To spearhead our sales activities in Russia and the CIS region and identify and develop new market opportunities, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager.
Europe is a large sales area for Novozymes’ Food & Beverages business and we have an ambitious growth agenda. We are thus looking for an energetic, results and action-oriented Sales Manager to spearhead our sales activities in Russia within the Food & Beverages markets.
In this position you will directly lead a small team of account managers to secure our ambitious sales targets. Key activities include preparing and challenging account plans in line with the industry growth strategies, providing coaching to the sales team, participating in customer meetings, and being an active member of account teams for key customers in the region. You will secure adherence to agreed performance measures for yourself and your team. In addition to the sales activities, you will also use your strong business drive to identity new market opportunities.
In addition to leading the sales team, responsibilities for this role include developing and driving strong customer relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders on strategy and direction, and setting/delivering sales targets.
Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will be critical to success in this role.
The position is based in Moscow, Russia, and requires travel activity within Russia and the CIS region, as well as some travel within Europe. You will report to the Business Operations Director for Food & Beverages Europe.

In this position you need to:
- Hold a Bachelor or a Master’s degree in Business/Marketing and/or a relevant technical area. Management degree is a plus.
- Have minimum 7-9 years of relevant job experience, preferably in biotechnology, food ingredients or fine chemicals. B2B experience is also a plus.
- Have account management skills and demonstrated sales and people management skills.
- Have a proven ability to lead and motivate teams, and be able to coach people and lead their professional development.
- Be capable of executing plans, have a strong drive for results, and possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Be motivated and experienced in working successfully in an international and intercultural team environment.
- Have English language proficiency (speak and write it fluently).
- Be willing and able to travel internationally.
