Our client is an internationally operating company from Western Europe, one of the leading companies in manufacturing and development of vehicles and equipment for public area use. The company has a long tradition and operates several subsidiaries all over the world. Currently the company aims to boost operations and esp. sales on the Russian market. For the local subsidiary the position of a sales oriented General Manager to fill.

Job description:
- Our client aims to strengthen its market position in Russia and strongly expand sales also in the regions.
- As General Manager you will be wholly responsible for business and sales development of the company and also the necessary localization of the products.
- Development and direct management of the local sales
- Adaption of the organization to achieve the budget targets
- Leadership, coordination, motivation and control of the local staff (at both sites)
- Responsibility for contracting and order processing
- General financial management of the company and monitoring of the balance sheets, liquidity, current business and cost development with existing indicators and analytical tools in close cooperation with the headquarters
- Organization of a customer-oriented service and spare parts supply in Russia including localization to improve sales opportunities
- Development of an active Key Account Management
- Establishing and cultivating of long-term business relationships at all decision-making levels
- Identification of new market opportunities and potentials
- Development and implementation of specific regional sales and marketing concepts
- Market and competitor analysis
- You use your technical competence and business skills to provide the customers with individual solutions, actively conveying the benefits of “your” products.
- Reporting to the Headquarters
Job requirements:
- Excellent command of Russian language (on a native level) and good command of English or / and German, both oral and written.
- Several years of successful sales and executive experience, preferably within an international company, preferably in capital goods
- University degree or similar qualification,
- Good commercial knowledge
- Excellent leadership skills, experience in personnel management as well as ability to motivate a team.
- You are a very strong sales person, someone who is convincing, can rely on his own competence and know how to assert yourself in dealing with customers.
- You have excellent leadership qualities and sales skills; you are convincing and know how to assert yourself in dealing with both customers and staff.
- Competent, independent and goal-oriented way of acting and business approach.
- You are a pro-active person with a high level of self motivation, engagement and loyalty.
- Hands-on mentality and very sales focused approach
- Very sociable, communicative and team oriented personality
- Willingness to travel
