Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) Client Operations head is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of cross-functional teams in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination and close partnership with the TTS business and TTS Technology. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of TTS Client operations goals in functional alignment of Russia franchise business goals and EMEA TTS CO objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Management of all TTS Client Ops functions in-country. Responsibilities include all management aspects including people management, financials (expense budget, resourcing), service levels, productivity levels, controls.
- Maintenance of close working relationships with all business and product partners locally, at cluster and regional levels to provide direction from Russia O&T perspective, to ensure adequate operational support across the franchise, in line with business strategy & objectives and with EMEA TTS CO goals.
- Ensuring that country TTS Operations operate within the legal & regulatory requirements, including internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain strong focus on the delivery of high quality customer service through TTS CO processes and platforms that are reflected in high customer satisfaction.
- Oversight of ops initiatives /projects and active contribution to business driven projects. Focus on continuous process improvement and re-engineering.
- Maintenance of a strong control and compliance environment, focus to reduce operational risk; management of the TTS CO MCA; satisfactory audit ratings and contribution to successful audits for franchise and partner businesses; identification and addressing issues timely and completely through CAPs/IBAMs.
- Team development of high morale, ethics and professionalism; focus on talent development and retention, succession, engagement, diversity, proper capacity in line with business needs; to create a working environment of meritocracy and team spirit that can be measured through VOE results;
- Design, oversee, and evaluate operative strategies to have efficient processes, improve the customer experience, and reduce losses to the institution
- Design strategies that generate improvements
- Review processes, procedures, strategy changes, and capacity plans to ensure productivity, inventory control, and turnaround time according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Oversee all policies and procedures are in place to ensure operations run within the highest quality standards, Fraud and Regulatory Risks are minimized, and customers have a positive experience
- Develop proposals for all initiatives and communicate opportunities and progress against the proposal in a concise and timely manner to senior leadership
- Provide judgements based on analysis of facts and a diverse range of internal and external sources in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations
- Negotiate internally and communicate management report to senior management, recommending next course of action
- Participate in improvement projects with internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with senior line directors to identify opportunities and communicate conclusions and analysis back to senior management
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience in financial management in terms of budgeting/forecasting, expense management and product allocations
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in banking
- Russian and English language fluency
- Strong strategic mindset
- Proven ability to meet new challenges, assimilate new information and to influence people through the maturity of approach and effective expression and articulation of knowledge and understanding
