Our client, an international IT company (around 50 employee) is looking for Human Resource Manager
Candidate criteria:
- Minimum of c. 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management at HR Manager level
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills – English proficiency is essential
- Managing HR document flow:
- processing vendors contracts for approval,
- providing Company statements for employees,
- making copies of employees labor books
- Experience of working in a matrix international environment is preferred
- A curiosity for our business and the ability to think strategically and operationally
- Strong understanding of Russian employment law is essential
- A professional, pragmatic and commercial approach to HR
- Strong collaborative and engaging style
- Ability to influence senior management
Job Purpose
Be a key and influential member of the Russian business leadership team, accountable for the full range of HR activity, including; resourcing, onboarding, performance management, talent management, reward, employee relations, employee culture and engagement and organisation change. The role holder must work closely with the EMEA HR Centres of Excellence and ensure all HR activity supports business goals.
Be a trusted advisor to the Russian leadership team and a proactive and influential advisor to people leaders in Russia. This role will require the candidate to operate at both a strategic and operational level.
The HR Manager must be a strong, decisive, results oriented leader who can develop and manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders based on trust, teamwork and knowledge.
Accountabilities:
Employee Relations
- Work with senior managers to coach and advise them on all people issues
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date and in line with current employment law
- Conduct investigations when employee complaints or concerns are raised
- Handle disciplinary, grievance, low performance, employee exits and absence cases
- Maintain staff records as directed by local regulations
- Prepare HR information as requested or required for compliance with local laws or regulations
- Conduct and analyse employee exit interviews
Learning and Development
- Identify training needs for Russia and implement the training and development agenda, working closely with the function Head of HRs and HR Centres of Excellence
- Implement the training and development agenda as designed by EMEA
- Provide guidance on career development solutions for managers and their teams
- Support, maintain and manage the company’s process of organisational development that addresses succession planning, workforce development, critical employees, organisation design and change management
Performance, Talent and Compensation Management
- Oversee the annual performance management calibration and reward review processes
- Manage talent and succession planning in cooperation with Heads of HR and HR Centres of Excellence
- Oversee the salary structures, pay review guidelines and the variable pay systems including bonuses/commissions. Oversee annual merit increases plus out of cycle requests via RewCo
- With the assistance of the EMEA Reward team obtain cost effective employee benefits - monitor the national benefits environment and identify any cost savings / benefit enhancements
Employee Engagement / Culture
- Partner the business to interpret, analyse and act on employee engagement feedback
- Support employee communication and feedback through Town Hall meetings, employee suggestion programs, newsletters and employee focus groups
- Closely monitor the organisations culture and employee sentiment to ensure it supports the attainment of company’s goals and promotes employee satisfaction
- Report key people KPIs for the Russian market; headcount, attrition, engagement, promotion rates and compensation metrics etc
Team contribution
- Maintain professional and technical HR knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications and establishing professional networks
- Actively contribute to the Key Markets HR Team discussions and be prepared to lead on some Key Markets HR activity
- Assume other responsibilities as required and as assigned by the Head of HR
- Develop and monitor an annual budget that includes HR services such as training and recruitment costs
