Currently Novartis Pharma is looking for a Federal Market Access Manager to boost MA startegy on the country level.
Market Access Manager interacts with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve fast access to new drugs for patients in Russia.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for submission of reimbursement dossiers to the ministry of health for commercialization of pipeline products
- Leading projects based on cross functional teams (DRA / Medical / Marketing) confirming timely delivery of all required information to health authorities.
- Responsible for streamlining the dossier and ensuring consistent messaging of predefined value messages according to the Pricing & Reimbursement strategy in order to achieve best prices and broad patient population access for superior product launch performance (depending on an in depth understanding of the underlying clinical and economic data and the ability to focus on essential contents)
- Realizing early reimbursement on the basis of individual case by case negotiations with insurance companies thus securing individualized patient access to new drugs
- Supporting the product strategy in cross functional Brand Teams for marketed products
- Exploring competitive opportunities on the basis of potential access solutions and innovative pricing schemes
- Analyzing the impact of changes in Health Care Policy, Government Affairs and other environmental factors
- Supporting the development of a country specific public relations strategy and health technology assessment (HTA) agenda
- Assessing new tools and processes to evaluate return of investment for Market Access activities with the goal to facilitate reimbursement deals
- Developing strong relationships to external stakeholders and delivering customized value messages to target stakeholders
- Accountable for interacting with Patient Advocacy Groups (PAG) in specific disease areas
Minimum requirements:
- High medical/biological education is a must; additional economic or marketing education is preferable
- English: Upper-intermediate/Fluent
- Overall working experience is not less than 5 years
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry as market access manager or health authorities from 3 years
- Sufficient knowledge of Reimbursement processes and commercial principles
- Successful experience in reimbursement \ formulary listing
- Proven ability to develop trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
- Excelent negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of HEOR
- Strong understanding of product-relevant bioscience
- Optimal use of information to uncover customer and market insights. Experience and an understanding of customers and the decision making process
