Role Purpose:

The Senior Manager Finance & Controlling is a member of the local management team, the business partner of the entity director and providing all decision takers with solid financial analysis and expertise. The role holder actively participates in management decisions and communication processes. In this role the Senior Manager Finance & Controlling actively involves themself in implementing the corporate strategies, being the challenger of the local management team and seeks for improvements in all areas including the organizational development. As the local responsible for risk management and compliance the role holder is also responsible to ensure that all business processes follow the strategy and match the respective requirements of the business group and Freudenberg at any time. The Senior Manager Finance & Controlling is the person of trust and acts in his behavior as role model for integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Co-responsible for the P&L, working capital and liquidity management of the entity
Ensure availability and analysis of all data/information necessary for sound decision making and contributes to setting and driving the country overall strategy
Continuously monitor the performance, evaluate risks and opportunities to ensure the country stays on track to deliver financial results, including Profit, WC and Cash
Provide predictable plans and forecasts for the country
Ensure all local practices in the business unit are fully in line with financial, legal, and guiding principles
Lead preparation of OP incl. simulations with a holistic view on all aspects of the P&L, balance sheet and liquidity
Manage local and corporate projects

Additional Responsibilities

Ensures accuracy of legal entity reporting and compliance with all applicable rules, laws, etc.related to accounting processes, including payroll
Handling of authorities, statutory reporting, audits, legal- and insurance-cases
Lead, coach and develop the finance and accounting team
Implementation of all changes in corporate standards, procedures and guidelines
Ensure adhere with IC pricing principles in line with internal/external standards and requirements
Responsible for up to date data in all relevant systems esp. for TBM management and all sales related information

Professional Experience and Specific knowledge

University degree (Master or Bachelor)
More than 7 years of operative business controlling in a sales entity
Experienced in calculations, costing, process modelling and identifying implications of decisions on various KPIs.
English language (fluent in speaking and writing)
Expert level in SAP and MS office software

Deep knowledge of business and financial processes
Very broad knowledge of financial and controlling implications on operational and strategic business decisions
Specific competencies: business acumen, problem solving, standing alone, conflict management, building effective teams, developing direct reports, motivating others.
